It facilitates the recording of stream study data across a broad range of parameters, enabling users of all ages to engage with water quality monitoring and to enhance their understanding through interactive learning pop-ups.

Data recording options include general reports and specific documentation within the Leaf Pack Network framework. The app captures comprehensive site information such as geographic coordinates, site profile details, water chemistry parameters, physical stream characteristics, and aquatic macroinvertebrate data. The macroinvertebrate section functions as an integrated field guide, featuring identification resources for twenty-two major taxa used in pollution tolerance assessments. This includes images, sketches, short videos, and descriptive information to aid accurate identification.

Designed for use in the field, the app operates effectively without WiFi or cellular connectivity. Upon returning to a network environment, users can export their data as printed reports or share via email, facilitating seamless documentation and communication of findings.
